Elkhart County Special Education Cooperative (ECSEC)
It is a pleasure and privilege to be the executive director of special education for over 3,400 students with disabilities. ECSEC has provided services to students ages 3-22 in our 6 school corporations since the late 1960s. We have a talented staff of school psychologists, behavior resource consultants, occupational and physical therapists, speech and language pathologists, preschool teachers, teachers of students who are blind or low vision, teachers of students who are deaf or hard of hearing, autism consultants, administrative assistants, and special education coordinators who are dedicated to meeting student needs.
Parental involvement in a child’s program is vital to our success and we appreciate the relationships we have with our families. We value our community partnerships so our students are better prepared to be thoughtful, engaging citizens.
Thank you for your relationship with ECSEC and please contact us if you need assistance.
